Carter Reeves, DDS
Dr. Reeves is a second-generation dentist who began his dental career around age 12. Watching his father’s compassion, expertise and professionalism gave him inspiration. Post-graduation, he joined his father’s practice in Fairfax County, VA, where he was born and raised. After several years of experience with his family, he decided to branch out to serve the people of beautiful Loudoun County and create a space of his own.
Dr. Reeves received his DDS degree from the Medical College of Virginia (VCU School of Dentistry). He continues to pursue advanced post-doctoral training in individual dental specialties including dental implants, smile design, temporomandibular joint disorder (TMD), sleep apnea, and Invisalign® orthodontics.
Dr. Carter Reeves’ accolades include being named top 40 Under 40 by Incisal Edge Magazine, Premiere Invisalign Gold provider 2017, Open Care Practice of the Year 2012, Best of Yelp (2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018), Google 5-Star Provider, Angie’s List Grade A Provider, and numerous community philanthropic awards including the Boy Scouts of America Prestigious Provider.
Dr. Reeves has one mission for First Impression Dental: to provide the highest standard of care to his patients through time spent with each of them, advanced technology and techniques, and a genuinely caring and compassionate orientation toward patient care. He is especially adept at making even the biggest “dental coward” feel like they are at a relaxing spa. If you are a person who has had difficulty getting numb in the past, give Dr. Reeves a try and enjoy being numb for once!
He is an active member of the American Dental Association (ADA), the Northern Virginia Dental Association (NVDA), and the Virginia Dental Association (VDA). He is also a long-time volunteer dentist for Missions of Mercy (MOM), which provides free dental care to underprivileged families.
Dr. Carter Reeves and his wife, Dr. Elizabeth Reeves, are college sweethearts (Go Hokies!). Dr. Liz is the creative mind behind First Impression and the key to its success. Her multi-medical degrees and work ethic keep First Impression Dental performing at an optimal level and regarded as a major community pillar.
Drs. Reeves are the proud parents of three amazing sons, Harrison, Ramsey and Sawyer. The Reeves are life-long Redskins fans and enjoy any activity that includes family, friends, music and the great outdoors.
In addition to family time, the Reeves believe in giving back to their community by means of countless hours of volunteer work, donations to local projects, and school system assistance. They are happy contributors and supporters of Operation Second Chance, Relay for Life & the American Cancer Society, tons of local schools including Madison’s Trust & Discovery Elem, Brambleton Community Association, Willowsford HOA, The Life Church, Virginia Academy & Community Church, and local music and craft beer events.
The Reeves’ vision for First Impression Dental is to offer a quality dental experience to busy, hard-working families. This starts with the initial conversation over the phone and is carried through with Dr. Reeves’ compassion for his patients. Heck, he even comes in on his day off if an emergency needs attention!
If you are wondering who Dr. Carter Reeves learned his great bedside manner from, look no further. Dr. Ed Reeves comes to us with over 30 years of dental and continuing education experiences. He is truly a master of his craft and we are lucky to call him family.
